Advice on sending an image?

Photo patterns work best with images of people or pets faces...although we have created a campervan before too!

We recommend:

- a maximum of 2 faces within the image
- use a bright, clear, high quality image
- use a close up image of the face, (if it's in the distance its hard to pick out detail)
- don't send dark or blurry images

We will let you know if your image is acceptable and make suggestions where possible. We can also adapt images to move people closer together and remove the background to focus on the faces - so don't worry if its not perfect!

What photos are acceptable?

Photographs, illustrations and other images will generally be protected by copyright as artistic works. This means that a user will usually need the permission of the copyright owner(s) if they want to perform certain acts, such as replicating the image.

By emailing an image to be used in a Photo Pattern to hello@knit-it.co.uk, you are declaring that you are the copyright owner or have permission from the copyright owner to use the image, in a photo pattern. We reserve the right to reject images that we feel are not suitable.

When will I receive my order?

Once your order is processed you'll receive a confirmation email requesting the image you wish to use for your pattern. You need to reply to the email, attaching the image which will be reviewed and approved before your bespoke pattern can be created. Our artist will create your bespoke pattern which will take between 1-5 days after image approval. When it is complete the bespoke Photo Pattern will be emailed to you.

I want to return my pattern. How can I do this?

As our Photo Patterns are bespoke, we are not able to provide refunds or cancel the order once it has been started.

When will I receive my order?

Once place an order you will receive an email with a link to download your digital file. The link will be live for a limited time.

I want to return my pattern. How can I do this?

Digital downloads are given their own unique category under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and are therefore not services or goods. If you want to download something within 14 days of buying it, you will have to give your consent to waive the 14-day cooling-off period. This is to prevent you from changing your mind after you have downloaded the content. We will repair or replace any digital content that is of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described.
